The St. Regis Grand Hotel, Rome has 161 ornately decorated guestrooms. Each is named after a different Roman site, the subject of a large fresco on the wall behind the beds. King beds are canopied. Rooms are appointed with Murano chandeliers, antique furniture and prints, and a red, cream, and gold color scheme. High ceilings are embellished with gilt cornices. Italian-marble bathrooms feature Hermés toiletries, gilt antique mirrors, separate showers and bathtubs, bidets, bathrobes, phones, and make-up mirrors.
